Recently, I connected with Mark Batterson to talk about his new book, “All In: You Are One Decision Away From A Totally Different Life.” During the interview, Mark shared five insights on following Jesus:
- You can go to church your whole life and not go “all-in” with Jesus.
- Many people think they are following Jesus but in reality they have invited Jesus to follow them.
- Many people are bored with their faith because they are following the rules but are not following Jesus.
- When you give the Holy Spirit “veto” power over your life it is “game on.”
- I don’t want to preach messages that educate people beyond their level of obedience.
