    Quarterly Unstuck Church Report

Since today is my last day in the office before the end of the year, I spent some time reviewing a few key areas of what we do including our website. There are probably only a handful of people in the crowd who might be interested in this. For the fellow geeks out there, though, here’s how things shook out in 2013.

  1. Pageviews – Traffic increased almost 20% in 2013 and has nearly doubled the last three years.
  2. Referrers – The top referrer to my site was Twitter. It generated 50% more pageviews than the second place referrer which was Google Search. Facebook came in third place.
  3. Individual Referrer – The top individual referrer to my site in 2013 was Thom Rainer. Thanks for sharing the love Thom!
  4. Clicks – On the other hand, we sent the most traffic to Amazon, RSI Stewardship and the Leadership Network.
  5. Search Terms – The top search terms, aside from “Tony Morgan,” that resulted in people landing on the site were spiritual growth, culture of honor, job satisfaction and church consulting in that order.
  6. Countries – After the United States, the most visitors came from Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, India and the Philippines.
  7. States – The top five states that visited were Texas, California, Georgia, Florida and North Carolina.
  8. Cities – The top cities were New York, Houston and Chicago, but London and Sydney were able to sneak into the top ten at #8 and #9.
  9. Technology – Chrome was the most used browser on the site. Windows is still, just barely, the most used operating system. (God help you.)
  10. Mobile – Desktops still beat mobile devices almost two to one when it comes to traffic on the stie. Though I’m a Google man, iOS has Android beat by a long shot for mobile devices.

How does that compare to what you’re seeing on your sites? Any significant differences from our audience to yours?
