Q3 Special Edition Unstuck Teams Report
Every quarter, The Unstuck Group releases trends and benchmarks on church health, growth, attendance, giving, and more, from churches across the U.S. But this quarterâs report will take a different look at how churches are doing in this unique season of ministry. Rather than focusing on the strategies that churches engage, this quarter we are going to highlight the health and performance of the ministry team itself. (Donât worry. Weâll get back to the Unstuck Vital Signs next quarter.)
Given what our world has experienced over the last year and a half, we sensed now might be a good time to check in and see how teams are doing. Using our Unstuck Teams Assessment, we surveyed over 1,100 church staff members from churches around the world. (Yes, Canadian and United Kingdom churches are represented here, too.)
Trends in Church Team Performance & Health
The questions in the assessment are grouped into six categories: personal health, team health, personal performance, team performance, systems and structure and organizational culture. Weâll present some of the highlights of the data collection around each of those areas, including:
- Do church team members have a strong work ethic?
- Are team members regularly practicing a Sabbath?
- Would teams describe their workplace as life-giving?
- Are church leaders demonstrating humility in their leadership?
Discover answers to these questions and more in the Q3 2021 Special Edition Report.
