    Quarterly Unstuck Church Report

In August, I attended and spoke at INJOY Stewardship Solutions’ Capital Campaign University event in Kennesaw, Georgia. The event is designed to teach church leaders everything they need to know about executing a capital campaign on their own.

I had the chance to catch up with Joe Sangl, President of INJOY Stewardship Solutions for a few minutes at the event, and he answered some questions about current trends and best practices for church leaders considering starting a stewardship campaign. Check out the interview and a few highlights below.

Interview Highlights:

  • Stewardship in churches has shifted from being project-based to vision-based throughout the last few decades.
  • Multisite churches looking to add permanent facilities need to start the stewardship journey early so they’re ready to act fast when a building becomes available.
  • Churches only get one shot about every 3-4 years to raise major resources, so it needs to be done with a clear vision in mind.
