About the Experience

This year-long experience kicks off with a 2-day gathering in Alpharetta, GA. You can expect an anti-conference gathering: No crowds, no singing, no cheesy gimmicks. Spend a few days away from the ministry whirlwind in fantastic accommodations, eating excellent meals, and connecting with other gifted lead pastors.

We’re inviting senior pastors from a small group (max 16) like-minded churches to connect around the critical responsibilities a senior pastor must own, and to actively participate and learn from each other. You will be both encouraged and appropriately challenged to grow in your personal leadership alongside pastors from similar churches and those who are a few steps ahead.

After the kickoff gathering, the group will connect via quarterly video calls and via a private Slack channel in the space between. (You can expect surprise guests from churches who are leading the way in ministry growth and experience to join us for those conversations!)

OCTOBER 15-17, 2024

Sessions at the
2-Day Gathering

Based on their experiences working with hundreds of senior pastors through the years, Tony and Amy will personally facilitate and guide collaborative discussions around the four roles a senior pastor can’t delegate to anyone else on the team:

Spiritual Leader & Teacher

We’ll focus on the critical aspects of modeling spiritual leadership (e.g. soul care, family, sabbath, personal leadership), as well as effective structures and systems for maximizing your teaching gift (e.g. planning rhythms, utilizing a teaching team, creativity).

Vision Caster

We’ll focus on the practical aspects of implementation and change management, not just the "preaching" part of vision casting.

Leader of Leaders

We’ll focus on how to effectively delegate what can be delegated to people you are actively developing and empowering for their next level of leadership. Your leadership will rise if you have the right leaders around you.

Culture Champion

We’ll focus on clearly defining the culture of your church (not aspirational, the real thing) and the practical ways you own this role.

This is an event for senior pastors at large churches who are pursuing health and effectiveness in their calling.

We aim to equip you with tools and community support needed to take your next steps towards being a thriving senior leader.

What Others Are Saying

david hall

The size of the gathering gave the opportunity to genuinely connect with other leaders in a very meaningful and collaborative way. I feel that I could reach out to any of the leaders who were in the room and we would be picking up from a place of relationship. The conversations and topics were helpful, encouraging, and appropriately challenging.

It was highly encouraging as well as reinforcing the trends and patterns that I am seeing. Such an incredible opportunity to learn from those who have gone before us for years. Very excited to continue to build relationships and lean on those who have experience.
