How Do We Deliver the Message?

We’ve been talking a lot about multisite lately.

We just hosted a webinar about the campus pastor role, and even touched on it over on The Unstuck Group. It’s fitting though. Because multisite is a common expansion strategy, I get a lot of questions about it.

Truthfully, there isn’t a right way to do it. There are a lot of factors to consider that qualify various methods, but, there are definitely some ways to approach it that we rarely see work out well for the future.

My team and I don’t usually recommend an exclusively live-teaching model for multisite campuses. But, there are a few churches that have done it well. I recently got to talk with Tammy Melchien, teaching pastor at Community Christian Church in Illinois. From what I’ve seen, this church executes the live-teaching model the best—but there are some very specific reasons why it works in their context.

If you’re considering this approach, you definitely need to hear Tammy’s insights.
