You replicate who you already are. Are you replicating health?
We believe a healthy multisite strategy can help you lead more people to Christ.
Multisite works best when healthy, growing churches expand into new locations to reach more people and have a greater Kingdom impact. If you partner a clear strategy with healthy, well-equipped launch teams, I believe adding campuses to your church can be powerful for God’s Kingdom.
But the truth is, that you replicate who you already are. And just because you’re a growing church doesn’t necessarily indicate you’re ready for multisite. If you’re not prepared for it, multisite can become multistuck very quickly.
That’s why my team felt so passionate about creating a strategic planning process for multisite.
We wanted to help you create (and implement) a plan for where you feel like God is leading your church.
Let me outline what that looks like—
Plan for the future: “Where are we going?”
The win for this phase is that your team develops a clear action plan to launch or strengthen your multisite strategy.
You will clarify your organization-wide ministry strategy, as well as how it can be replicated effectively across campuses, and establish a clear plan to launch your next campus.
We guide your team through the following conversations:
1. You’ll Start with the Why
For multisite to truly work, everyone has to be on the same page about why the church is engaging this strategy—from day one.
Differing team members will likely have different purposes and expectations for the expansion initially. Getting on the same page early in this process sets the entire team up to be aligned and unified. Everyone needs to be pulling in the same direction.
2. You’ll Clarify Your Ministry Strategy
Your team will clarify what’s at your “core” as you replicate campuses, and establish a clear ministry model for each location.
You will reframe your mission field leveraging our curated report on the demographics of your specific community.
3. You’ll Build Your Discipleship Path
Your team will find common language to answer the question “What is a disciple?” as well as a shared understanding of how your church will help people take their next steps towards Christ.
4. You’ll Clarify Your Multisite Strategy
We help you determine how identical or independent your campuses will be, which includes determining your teaching model (video vs. live teachers) and clarifying decision rights (campus vs. central).
5. You’ll Build an Expansion Strategy
You will identify how you will measure success for new campuses and then build a replicable launch plan, which includes establishing financial targets, developing a candidate profile for the campus pastor role and outlining initial staff and volunteer leadership teams.
We help you process potential future locations, plan for central support resources, and set an optimal schedule for launching new campuses.
6. You’ll Build Action Plans & Systems
We’ll help you break down everything that needs action to accomplish the vision. Then, we’ll assist you in developing a regular 90-Day Action Plan rhythm, so that you begin creating greater accountability for follow-through.
7. We’ll Coach You as You Lead Change
Your plans will likely involve the need to lead your team through some significant changes. We provide coaching for your leaders and share best practices as you begin implementing your plan.
My team combined has over 100 years of multisite experience. We understand the complexities that are important to navigate through, and we want to partner with you to help you lead a healthy, growing multisite church.
