    Quarterly Unstuck Church Report

In case you’ve been on the fence about whether or not a leadership coaching network is for you, we wanted to give you some candid thoughts from fellow pastors who decided to join ours in the past.

Both of these pastors emphasized the value of experiencing leadership growth with a group of like-minded people. The job of pastor is often a lonely one. We get that. You’ll grow most as a leader in community, with encouragement and accountability. We know that kind of environment isn’t for everyone. But it just might be for you.

Here are some reasons Pastor Duane and Pastor John found a coaching network valuable and why they’d recommend joining to other pastors.

Nashville, TN

Coaching allows you to go deeper on many topics with a few people who are concerned about the same issues. Unstuck’s approach provided a good mix of their own experience and wisdom, with excellent resources. The leader best suited for coaching networks is someone that is open to ideas that focus your attention and to learning what other leaders have proved to be most impactful.

Our lead pastor and I had four hours of drive time to and from each meeting. We were able to review what we learned from each visit and work out specific action plans to move into more effective ministry.

John Elmer, lead pastor at The Vineyard Church
Syracuse, NY

Coaching networks are much more helpful than a conference, because I receive great material, can do an exercise around it the next month and then come back to the group with questions. It helps me fully incorporate the principles.

I was surprised how many things we were doing that were geared for a smaller church and hindering our growth. If you are a leader who wants to impact more people and move through a growth barrier, then this round table is a must! The topics are relevant and crucial if you want to keep impacting more people. I loved that I could have specific questions answered from someone who has been through what I am going through and understands what it is like to be in my shoes.

We have a few spots left for our five spring coaching networks, but the deadline to apply is this Friday, March 6. Apply here.
